The Sixley Sessions

In conversation with Nick Trim, Co-Founder and former COO of Darktrace

Hosted by Sixley and Rathbones at 30 Gresham St, London EC2V 7QN

Private Dinner, 6.30pm, Wednesday 18 June 2025

Paul Naha-Biswas, Founder of Sixley, and Paola Cuneo and Andrew Little of Rathbones would like to invite you to a private dinner hosted at Rathbones’ London Office at 6.30pm on Wednesday 18th June with Nick Trim, Founder, CRO and COO of Darktrace, and Board Director of Sixley.

As a founder of one of the UK’s most prominent technology unicorns, Nick led Darktrace’s commercial journey from inception to its $5.3bn private equity exit. Over 11 years, he built a world-class go-to-market function, scaling the customer base to over 10,000 and driving $690m in ARR – underpinning both a successful IPO and eventual sale.

In this off-the-record conversation, Nick will share the inside story of building, listing and exiting a British tech success. He’ll explore the sales engine, organisational structure and talent decisions behind high-growth execution – as well as the personal side of exiting and the question of “what next?” for founders and leaders post-transaction.

This dinner forms part of the Sixley Sessions, a series we run with Rathbones to bring together senior leaders building toward a value event – whether that’s a transaction, MBO, listing or major milestone. Hosted in private, these conversations focus on what drives long-term performance: from sales strategy through to technology and the people that underpin success.
